Today is the final day my book is free on Kindle. After tonight (okay, let’s nitpick, 11:59 PM PDT) it goes back to costing Actual Money, which fewer of you will pay, which is the entire problem with money.
I’m Not Cleaning a Weather Balloon is a book of short-ish bits about HOAs, neighbors, and suburban WTF with neighbors, and neighbors being weirdly neighbor-ish.
Did I mention that this e-book is free for a few more hours? What time zone are you even in? Do you know? Are you sure? What if you’re in Zone 7? I think you can grow zinnias there now. I am putting a zinnia photo in this post to prove it. Oh look. There’s a butterfly. It was free like the e-book is right now. The zinnias came in a packet that cost 99 cents. That’s more than the e-book costs right now. The butterfly did not pay for the e-book either, but it appears that it left a lovely 4 paragraph review with 5 stars on Amazon.

TL, DR: This is a free humor-ish e-book with a quote from the David Thorne on the cover (Google him, but you really should know who he is) and I totally took it as a compliment, but . . . was it? The uncertainty makes it funny as hell to me.
